Wisdom
If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals. - Albert Einstein
Ahimsa (do no harm)
Throughout my adolescence I had my fair share of egotistical blogs (five to be exact). The entries focused on trivial problems and frivolous self-reflection. I have returned to the world of blogging for an entirely different reason.
I am here for many multi-faceted reasons. I have a trio of rescue dogs. I am a lacto-vegetarian transitioning into the world of veganism. I sponsor mountain gorillas and elephants. I help an amazing group of people find homes for abused and neglected dogs in rural and reserve areas surrounding my city. I lobby for animal welfare. I spend every waking moment researching and planning how I am going to make a difference while I am on this planet. In the grand scheme of things, I am an animal rights advocate. I cannot comfort every scared, neglected, starving, and abused creature, but I will die trying.
This blog will provide me with a venue to find answers within myself. This venue will allow me to connect with common minds around the world. Together we can give the voiceless a voice.
May all that have life be delivered from suffering
